Official School
We played with our Leaf Sensory Tub.We worked on our Roll a Leaf tree.
Extra Learning
We jumped in leaf piles! M had such a blast with this, and R decided to join in too!M made some trains out of her blocks.
She worked on some pages from a Preschool workbook that had her color all the red items, then yellow, etc.
She played with her window markers.
R worked on putting dominoes into a 3 compartment dip holder.
We went on a field trip this morning to the Natural History Museum!
Teacher Lessons
Change is the only constant. I've been struggling with changing nap schedules, new school schedule, changing levels of readiness for activities, and the list goes on and on! And now R is ready to start with Tot School! I am starting to learn that things will never "settle down," change is our new normal!Since our activities are starting more and more to reflect a preschool level, we are now linking up to Preschool Corner as well as Tot School. Visit their websites to find some more great learning activities!
Fun field trip!!
ReplyDeleteFlexibility is the number one ingredient when homeschooling. Something always comes up to mess with the schedule. LOL I've given up schedule and now just have a "groove."
They looked like they had a blast playing in the leaves.
ReplyDeleteWow! R is down to 1 nap a day so young! J just stopped his morning nap this summer (23 mos) but good that he can join Tot School. Great fall theme with the leaves. Oh and I almost bought a window marker last week but hesitated. Does it come off easy? Does she use them a lot so far?
