Beginning Letter Sounds Printable

I posted a black and white version of this last year before I had a color printer.  Here is my updated color version, which we are using for letter review.  I hope someone out there finds these useful!

Pumpkin Preschool Skills Pack

I've never really done themes before, but decided to start them up now during the holidays.  I'll still be posting our Art/Music, Sensory/Messy Play, and Practical Life/Motor Skills activities, but now I'll also be posting a weekly "pack" of various preschool skills activities that match our theme that week.  First up?  Pumpkins! If you want to use them yourself, simply print, cut, and color (I don't have a color printer).  Included are:
  • Jack O' Lantern File Folder Game
  • Pumpkin & Jack O' Lantern Uppercase/Lowercase Letter Match
  • Pumpkin Grid Game (text got messed up somehow, sorry!) - roll a dice and use some sort of manipulative to fill up grid
  • Pumpkin Lacing Cards - cut out, poke holes, and attach string
  • Pumpkin Size Order
  • Pumpkin Counting Cards
  • Uppercase/Lowercase P Sort
  • Jack O' Lantern Pattern Cards

Let me know if you have any questions!

Beginning Letter Sound Flash Card Printable

I made these little cards just using clip art from google and Microsoft Publisher, printing them, and then coloring them with colored pencils (the color part of our printer is permanently on the fritz).  They have the uppercase and lowercase letter, as well as 3 or 4 pictures of objects that start with that letter.  If it was a letter that had various beginning letter sounds I tried to include examples of each.  (For example: Ii - ice cream and iguana).  For now, M has been using these just to review, but I'll be printing a second set soon and we'll use them for matching activities also.  If you find another way to use these, please let me know!
