We did tons of school this week, but I didn't manage to get any pictures! This video of her reading Polar Bear, Polar Bear to me is the only thing I have for you!
Teacher Lessons
Don't throw away past activities. M was pretty insatiable for "school" this week, which normally would have been fine, but was really really hard on me this week. My husband worked late most of the nights this week and I came down with the flu (or something like it) late in the week so I was not on the top of my game. I was very thankful that I had stored several of our past activities in plastic baggies because I was able to pull them out quickly every time she begged for school.
How sweet that she wanted to do more. I hope that you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to hear about "begging" for school but it's true when you are fostering a love of learning rather than just getting them to absorb fact and knowledge.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and heap grace on yourself; sick people need that! (think educational videos and extra stories :))
Yes, keeping pass activities is a must. I actually will keep them out for the month sometimes and just let my son play with it as he chooses.
ReplyDeleteSorry you weren't feeling well! I have all my past activities in file folders and easily accessible for review or weeks I am too busy to make new things :) Great tip!
